Petition in 4 parts: 1) It is requested that power be given to Aston, Ireby and Scholle to enquire of people of the Church in the bishoprics of Hereford and Worcester who have been the king's enemies, and to attach them and assign a day by mainprise to be before the king. 2) It is requested that a remedy is ordained for the forest of Dean which has come to nothing in vert or venison because of Nasse who is the king's principal enemy and counsellor of Dammory and Berkeley. 3) It is requested that a remedy is ordained for Lyntone, Waleys and Tristram who are with the bishop of Hereford and escaped Boroughbridge and are now in the country pursuing the king's men. 4) It is requested that a remedy is ordained for Revel, Cook and Wyget have always been against the king, and rob his manors and withdraw with their chattels, and now have returned under the maintenance of Kalberne.

- 1337: Notts. John de Aslacton (Aslockton), parson of the Church of Brigeford, was sum- moned at the suit of Nicholas de Longeford, the younger, and Alice, his wife, and John Ryvel, Chivaler, and Joan, his wife, the daughters and heirs of Roger Deyncourt, Chivaler, for forcibly ejecting the said Roger from the wardship of the land, and heir of John de Aslacton ; and the plaintiffs stated that the said John de Aslacton, held of Roger, the father of Alice and Joan, 100 acres of land and forty acres of meadow, in Aslacton, and the third part of the manor of Aslacton, by military service, and by the service of a Knight's fee, and died in the homage of the said Roger, and the said Roger was in peaceable seisin of the said tenements from the Feast of St. Michael, 24 E. Ill, up to the Feast of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist, 27 E. Ill, when the said John de Aslacton, the parson (the heir being under age), had forcibly ejected the said Roger, and whilst a suit on the subject was proceeding in the King's Court, the said Roger had died, and the right of action had accrued to the said plaintiffs, as daughters and heirs of Roger under the Statute, and they claimed 100 as damages. A cottage in Gildingwells inhabited by widow Revell, a croft at the back of the cottage, a foldstead, a garden, a meadow close called Sparrowell, another called the Little Sparrowell, and 7 selions containing about 3 acres in the Longmoorefeild (boundaries described) now in the occupation of William Boothe and lying in the town fields of Gilldonwelles.
