Spenser of Attercliffe
The descent of the family of Spencer of Bramley Grange was from a younger branch of the family of Spencer of Badby in Northants.
There is also a connection to the Bolle family of Swinehead - Rev. William P. Spencer, late Rector, was a descendant of Elizabeth, daughter of the former John Bolles, Esq. of Thorpe Hall.
