Children's Play Area Clifton Park

Currently undergoing a redevelopment, Clifton Park has received funding from the Big Lottery Fund and the Department of Children, Schools and Families and is using this to create a series of fantastic play areas throughout the park.

Clifton Park has been redeveloped in line with the new Play England guidelines and will have different areas which take their inspiration from the character of the natural landscape.

The Enchanted Forest, is set in a wooded area and has been designed to appeal to younger children, with a number of swings, including a basket swing and wobbly sheep.

Highlights of the new park include the Sand Area, which with building stations, diggers and waterpumps, and a Waterplay area.

Work is still underway and the new park is due to be completed from early July
