Valley Park, Herringthorpe
Herringthorpe Wood and Gibbing Greave are two neighbouring woodlands which lie adjacent to Herringthorpe Valley Park, a mile and a half east of Rotherham town centre. The combined area of the two woodlands is just under 11 Herringthorpe Wood is also thought to be of ancient origin.
