It's only small and it's only there for one day a week - but if you're shopping for bargains galore, fresh fruit and veg, flowers and plants, even greetings cards then Dinnington's Friday market is the place to be.
Take the turning towards the town centre at the roundabout close by the new Tesco. You'll find ample free parking spaces or, for bus passengers, the market couldn't be more convenient - it's right by the Dinnington Interchange.
A favourite, among those in the know, is the flower and plant fellow.

Be early, he gets a bit busy sometimes, you'll see why.
Bedding, towels, table cloths are no problem. Books and even jewellery.
The freshest fish - and some fishy tales to go with them, dressed crabs, prawns and haddock. Veg straight from the farm - talk about taste the difference.
And talking about talking, if you can manage to get a word in there's a couple who sell just about everything. They carry all the seasonal items - garden items in spring and summer, Christmas goods in the autumn and the prices are hard to match. This is where you buy your batteries, your scissors, your string, your ciggy papers. Across from this stall there's your toiletries, everything from Radox to cotton wool balls.
