His second marriage was to Maud Clifford of Cambridge, about 1414, she was the daughter of Thomas Clifford and Elizabeth Ros and was born about 1389 at Brough Castle, Westmoreland and died between 16 Oct 1436 and 26 Aug 1446, she was buried at Monastery Roche, Conisburgh, Yorkshire. Maud married 3 times:
