The Crewe Muniments hold details of a Post nuptial settlement of 1 Dec 1651:
Richard Hanson of Bawtrye, yeoman, to William Bacon and John Stafford of Greesbrough, yeomen.
Two messuages in Bawtrye to the east of the high road (boundaries described). To uses to provide a jointure for his wife, Jane, and then to be settled on their children. In consideration of the marriage already had between Richard and Jane, daughter of Francis Hudson of Greesbrough, husbandman.

Richard and Jane had a son George, who at the age of 8, in 1662 had acquired the property of his deceased father.

 

1722 - George Hanson of Bawtry, periwig maker, (son and heir of George Hanson late of Bawtry, gardener, deceased) and Jane Hanson, widow, his mother, to Mary Haswell of Bawtry, widow, and Jane Hanson of the same, spinster, his sisters. 3 houses on the back side of the town of Bawtry (boundaries described). For £40.
