Elizabeth Bower of Sprotborough married in 1669 to Rev. Francis Washington, Rector of Sprotborough. He died in 1678.
George Bower of Manby, Lincs. marr. 1614 Barbara SMYTH of BRAITHWELL. He was living in the Plymouth Colony before 1637, though not a Pilgrim Father, where he was a planter. He lived initially at Scituate, then moved to Plimoth in 1639. He later moved to Cambridge, Massachusetts.
George & Barbara's children were born in England and died in Massachusetts:

- (1627-1693) Benaniah, who was a Baptist, was fined 4 pounds for giving a glass of milk to starving Elizabeth Horton, an accused witch.

Barbara died in 1664, and George marr. Elizabeth WORTHINGTON, d. 1681. They had a son, Jerathmal George died in Cambridge, MA in 1656
