Blythman of Newlathes

New Laithes (New Lathes) was a single house in the township of Carlton, and parish of Royston, near Barnsley, Yorkshire

William Blythman of Thorpe Underwood married Eleanor Tanckard or Tancred (mid 1500s?). She later married Mathew Conyers of Thorpe Underwood

Elizabeth Blythman the daughter of Jasper Blythman married Henry Adam, solicitor and town clerk of Leeds . They had six children including Thomas Adam,(1701–1784), a Church of England clergyman
