Longleat House & Safari Park

Longleat House

Longleat House was erected on the site of an Augustine priory by Sir John Thynne (d.1580), the foundation was laid in January, 1567, and the building was completed in 1579.

Longleat is just off the A36 between Bath and Salisbury

Longleat House is Open daily from 1 January to 31 December (excluding Christmas Day)

Safari Park and all other attractions open daily from Saturday 15 March to Sunday 2 November 2008 inclusive
