John de Busli, gave the whole village of Austerfield for the support of a chaplain to pray, and to celebrate, in the house at London, masses for the soul of Robert de Vipont. In the reign of Henry II. John de Busli (1154-1189) built the new chapel at Austerfield, attaching it, as well as the chapel at Bawtry, to the convent at Blyth. Read More»
