South Yorkshire Transport Museum

The South Yorkshire Transport Museum moved to Aldwarke in early 2007, having previously occupied premises at Tinsley Tramsheds in Sheffield and traded as Sheffield Bus Museum.

The collection is still predominantly buses and bus related vehicles, but they are moving towards a more varied collection and currently display several large commercial vehicles either on loan or under restoration, as well as a small industrial tank engine.

Although there is usually someone there on a Saturday and casual visitors are welcomed, the main days for visiting are the Open Days, which are held on the second Sunday of the month from Easter to December.

School parties and Community groups are always welcome.

Public shows are visited throughout South Yorkshire.
