Hearts of Steel

A great event coming up at Rotherham Civic Theatre on 14th March - Hearts of Steel shares the history of the men and women who worked in the local steel industry.

Local singer-songwriters including Ray Hearne and Karen Mulcahey will be performing in Hearts of Steel, which celebrates the local steel industry and the local men and women whose lives were shaped by their work.

Compared by Ray Hearne, the event includes live music, stories, songs and poems as well as rarely seen film footage of Rotherham steel works old and new.

The performance also launches the film and a DVD of Hearts of Steel including a CD of 25 poems and songs.

There is a Matinee performance 2.30pm - 3.30pm and an evening performance from 7.30pm. Tickets are £7.
