Aughton, in the township of Aston-with-Aughton, and parish of Aston , upper- division of Strafforth and Tickhill; 4 miles from Rotherham, 9.5 from Worksop, (Notts.) 18 from Mansfield, (Notts.) Population in 1821, included in Aston. The Return of Aston with Aughton included part of Ulley in 1811, the whole of which is attributed to Treeton Parish.The Entire Parish of Treeton contained 703 inhabitants, including the whole of Ulley which is partly in the Parish of Aston with Aughton
