Thomas and Alice had a daughter Matilda (b.abt. 1866) who married Joseph Steedman, who in 1901 were living at Sawn Moor Cottage.

In 1901 James⁴ their son born abt 1866 was living at no 61 Laughton-en-le-Morthen Village with his wife Eliza (Nee Sheen) b. 1874 Thorne, Yorks and their children:
